Position Title: Primary Care Provider
Supervision: Primary Care Provider reports directly to the Tribal Health Director for administrative direction and the Medical Director for medical care direction.
Qualifications: Must possess an unrestricted Oregon Medical License.
Must possess a medical degree (M.D. or D.O.) from an accredited medical/osteopathic school
Demonstrate interest in working with Native American/Alaskan Native population.
Demonstrate special training and/or experience in general medicine
Have five years working experience in a clinical setting and/or appropriated residency program
Must possess & demonstrate a professional ability to work with a wide variety of people and personalities
Duties and
Responsibilities: The Primary Care Provider's responsibilities shall be inclusive, but not limited to the following:
Develop, implement, coordinate and evaluate clinical programs as requested
Provide primary care services to all eligible clinic users
Provide referrals to outside providers when appropriate
Consult with Contract Health Services (CHS) in matters of case management, billing, quality assurance, & aid the CHS Resource Management Committee
Consult with Nesik Health Group personnel in matters of quality assurance, billing, physician referral & other matters as they arise or as requested by Administration |
