I have been request by Dean Craig to provide a recommendation regarding the quality of services provided by Personnel Source, Inc. to our plant site.

Trus Joist, a Weyerhaeuser Business in Stayton, has had a long term relationship with Personnel Source, Inc. We have utilized other organizations, but have found they cannot dependably provide for our needs in quality, dependability and in the number we requires at any one time, as Personnel Source, Inc. does.

 Just this year, we made the decision to ramp-up approximately 60 positions in three months. Because we did not know the length of time our production would be at that level, we decided to utilize contact labor. The Personnel Source, Inc. management team and their recruiter came on site to discuss our needs. Although they have worked with us for many years, they reviewed our requirements and toured the plant to assess again each of the positions. Within a week we were bringing in groups of 7 to 10 people at a time to fill our needs. Because of their production backgrounds and the understanding of our needs Personnel Source provided us with quality and diverse employees who were able to train quickly and become productive workers. We could not have done the recruiting on our own. While not every person they sent worked out, the retention was very good and many of them were eventually hired and continue to work for us as quality associates.

By our choice, Personnel Source, Inc. is now our only provider of production contract labor. Personnel Source has always been able to provide me with production people when I request them, even on very short notice. Knowing our production requirements they are able to assess the potential of their success, match them to the job needed and give consideration to our need for diversity. Using the temp-to-hire program has allowed us to observe performance and motivation before hiring. This eliminates many human resource problems for us as well as freeing time and resources for other endeavors.

I have found all of the Personnel Source, Inc. staff to be pleasant, accommodating and ethical to work with. We consider them an extension of our recruiting/staffing efforts and feel they support our needs very well.
